Use of glass aggregates as a partial sand replacement: Effects on mortar performance

چکیده
The present study consists in verifying the effect of partial replacement alluvial sand by glass aggregates on performance mortar. For that, a series mechanical tests (compression and bending) an examination pozzolanic activity were carried out samples prismatic shapes (40x40x160 mm3) three types mortar: (i) control mortar (cement + mixing water); (ii) type 1 (AV10) “90% 10% aggregate” (iii) 2 (AV20) “80% 20% water). obtained results show that presence as for increases age 28 days, particular case AV20.
